Getting to know couples like PJ & Liz is the main reason why I love engagement shoots so much. I felt like I had known them for years! They are such sweet people with incredibly big hearts who have the gift of bringing incredible joy to those around them. :)

I think my new favorite thing may just be winter engagement shoots! What other time of the year do you get to see what was once was a big, beautiful lake take on a totally new form as a perfectly smooth, icy surface? Winter can be peaceful and wonderful in it's own unique way. And let's not forget the added bonus of being able to cuddle up in big, warm blankets while sipping on delicious cups of hot chocolate; all of which there was an abundance of on Saturday! Judging by Pat & Kylee's smiles, I think a winter engagement shoot was a win for everyone. :)
Pat & Kylee- I had such a great time with you two! Thanks for taking the time to go out in the freezing weather to take pictures. I definitely appreciated the hot chocolate! I'm looking forward to seeing you two (and for warmer weather) in June!
